STEMMA (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Motivation, and Accessibility) is an EU-funded PRIN 2022 project under NextGenerationEU aimed at promoting female participation, including women with visual impairments, in technical and scientific disciplines.
The project’s goal is to reduce the gender and disability-related gap in access to STEM subjects and curricula by analyzing real and perceived difficulties and obstacles and designing persuasive tools to promote and encourage the choice of pursuing a scientific career.
